The theme for this season was named “Season 1: New Beginnings”, most likely to emphasize the new season system. Players cannot simply purchase levels, as Contracts were introduced, and there are only 10 levels that apply to both Criminals and Police. It also is one of the seasons to give rewards immediately without extra payment of cash. Anyone who owned the Extra XP Gamepass got the Season Pass for free. Players who own the Season Pass will unlock 4 more items for levels and will gain an additional contract for each team.
